A gorgeous stretch of highway along the south side of the Columbia River. Many stops for water falls and other views. Don’t miss starting your trip at Shirley’s Tippy Canoe Restaurant for breakfast. You won’t need to eat the rest of the day .. or possibly week. The road meanders along the river and up into the forests. The road is reasonably well paved, but tends to be damp in many areas. Stop at teh many water falls as well as the Sturgeon Hatchery at the Cascade Locks.
